Subject: UGANDA'S EXPANSIONIST DREAMS
Content: Uganda is at it again. Uganda is interested in a small island in Lake Victoria, which is part of Kenya. The island, called Migingo, is just one acre amd stony, but is rich in fishing. Ugabna hoisted it's flag on the island, and sent troops on the island. But what is interesting is the manner in which the Kenyan Government has responded. It is total lack of interest or sheer cowardice, The Kenya Government is talking of a diplomatic solution, while Uganda is talking about taking the matter to the International Court of Justice. Kenyans are not amused by all this and have threatened to block Ugandan goods and traffic. Sections of the railway line have already been uprooted in some areas. It remains to been seen, whether Kibaki will take decisive action against Museveni. This is not the first time Uganda has made claims to kenyan territory, and Museveni has occupied some islands belonging to the Democratic Republic of Cingo.
