Subject: I dont have the Confidence to Speak to her.
Content: Want To Get To Know Girl - Get The Confidence To Speak There's this girl who I think is absolutely gorgeous and I really want to get to know her. However, here's the situation: -She was in my chem lab last semester, never talked, but saw each other. -This semester, I have no classes with her, but I'm seeing her everywhere, usually by herself. -She works at Jamba Juice on Monday nights (this I know because I get a Jamba Juice after my physics lab. This seems stalker-ish to many, but the last meal I have before getting a JJ is at 11:30. What do I do in this situation?) I can never muster the courage to talk to her. Whenever I pass her, I just give her a grin/smile and make eye contact. Then sometimes I won't see her for days on end and it kills me because I want another chance to make myself known. What should I do? What would be the best approach to introduce myself without making her feel uncomfortable. Surely I'd feel flattered if some girl came up to me and wanted to know me, but I think girls are different; they're more secure because they think guys just want to get into their pants. I don't want that kind of vibe to be her first impression. I was thinking of stopping and talking to her when I run into her face-to-face and then saying something like, "Hi, I'm so-and-so. You were in my chem lab last semester and I've also been seeing you around a lot." Is that a good start? If not, could you guys offer suggestions? If it is, could you help elaborate since that's all I know what to say to her when I get the confidence to speak to her (but if I end like that, it'll seem creepy). I want to keep my options open.
