Blog Entry: I feel i need to share my problems with you. I am married to my nigerian wife. She lives in Senegal for the moment. We married in october last year and we planned for her soon arrival to Sweden. Since we know processing time for permanent visa are very long, and we felt we cannot stand to wait up to six months until the authorities decide to give her permanent visa, she applied for visiting visa for start. Our plan was her to come next week and stay one month. Then she would return to Senegal and wait for the permanent permission to be granted. This morning i got a mail from the swedish embassy in Senegal saying that her visiting visa have been denied. They claim that she have not submitted important documents along with the application. That is not true! Both my wife and her brother who also accompanied her to the embassy are 100% sure they submitted all documents. The embassy says no, and we are not entitled to complaint or appeal. This really sucks! The embassy have been careless with important documents and will not admitt they done nothing wrong! Now we have to wait another six months or even more before she can come to Sweden... I have to go down to Africa soon and spend some weeks with her! It is so hard being separated to the person you love!
